Throughout his Architectural and Construction career, Bill Lobato
(president of WRL Construction Inc.), has made honest
dealings, quality construction, and concern for his customer his
primary goals. As a result, the vast majority of Lobato's projects
come directly from referrals of satisfied customers.
Although the company undertakes occasional light commercial
projects, WRL Construction Inc., primarily designs and
builds unique custom homes throughout the Southern Utah area. The
price of the homes varies, as does the needs of the customers,
which range from young families starting out on a tight
budget to people with higher end budgets desiring and upscale primary
or secondary home. Regardless of the price range, Bill
works hard to help the customer stay on track as far as the bid price
is concerned. The homes typically range in price from
$350,000 to $1,000,000 plus and boast the quality craftsmanship and
attention to detail that have become Bill Lobato's trade
mark.
Lobato feels his customers benefit greatly from his "hands-on" experience
in all phases of construction. There are many builders who have done
very little actual construction themselves, making it hard to relate
to the different tradesman on their jobs. WRL Construction, Inc.
is a small company that maintains tight control over every aspect
of the homes construction. Bill explains, " I am on the job
everyday to make sure EVERYTHING is being done properly". Generally
many months are spent with each customer, sometimes up to a year.
Because of this, Bill wants the experience to be as pleasant as possible.
Lobato strives hard to bring this about by helping the customers
in selecting their building sites and developing plans to meet their
specific needs. Bill says, " I know this is the biggest single
investment most people will ever make and I strive to give the customer
TOP QUALITY and make it a fun experience as well".
At WRL Construction Inc., great pride is taken in selecting sub-contractor's
that produce only the highest quality of craftsman-ship,
with outstanding work ethic's and professionalism. You
will find a list of these contractors oun the Sub
Contractors page of this site.

Lobato has an excellent taste for only the finest
cars, as well as his sub-contractors!!
This unique custom home designed by
Bill Lobato was featured in the 1996 May/June issue of Salt Lake City Magazine.
The home was specifically designed for Darwin and Gail Cudney's active
lifestyle.
The Cudney's are among a growing number of residents who have adopted Grassy
Meadows Sky Ranch, in Hurricane, Utah, as their home. They chose this area because
of it's unique feature of being built around a 4,400-foot paved and lighted runway.
This added an additional challenge for Bill in incorporating
an airplane hangar in with this southwest style of home.
The pine poles featured throughout the interior and exterior, and the
one-of-a-kind hand carved entry door, add to the true southwest
experience.
Working closely with Gail, an interior designer, Bill took her ideas
and turned them into a workable plan. Adding a few touches
of his own, such as a step-up living room and dining room, recessed pot
niches and thickened and stepped walls to enhance the true flavor of
the southwest.
The kitchen features a kiva-style fireplace commonly found in southwest
architecture, creating a warm, inviting setting for casual dining, making
this the perfect spot for the Cudney's to enjoy their morning coffee,
while taking in the view through their patio doors over looking the runway.
The foyer leading from the living area to the master suite and guest
rooms, feature niches to display the Cudney's collection of Peruvian
Folk Art.
Through Bill Lobato's vision of their specific needs, Gail and Bill
have created a warm inviting atmosphere, that Darwin and
Gail enjoy sharing with their family and friends.
